Why We Do This

We curate an unmatched vibe, and it comes from a real belief that our music has the power to heal, improve lives, connect us with ourselves, and bring people closer together. We think about that with every decision: the lineup, the sound, the dance floor orientation, the activities. When we say dance floor orientation, we mean it literally. We track how the sun, moon, and stars move overhead, how things align, how the shadows fall, and we use mother nature to enhance the production.

At its core, AWAKEN is about connecting with yourself, with others, and with nature, with music as the bridge. Mental health has always been at the center of how we build this event, and it shows up in almost every decision we make. It sounds a little dramatic, but this experience has changed lives, and it'll keep doing it. Come with an open mind, seeking good, and it'll have a big positive impact on you too.

And yes, it's also about crazy fun. AWAKEN just goes deeper than only fun.

The Midnight Meditation

Every night at midnight, we hold a custom-produced, guided meditation right on the dance floor. Picture hundreds of adults lying on inflatables, plush blankets, and pillows across 6,000 sq ft of turf, being guided through mindfulness sessions of self-love, compassion, forgiveness, connectedness. Then, like you're being reborn, intentional music pulls you out of the meditation and into a musical journey most people have never experienced. It's absolutely transformational.

Throughout the weekend there's more: organized meditation, yoga, breathwork, and all kinds of social experiences. And you're always free to create your own.

Saturday Pool Party

Back by popular demand. On Saturday afternoon we throw a pool party with live DJs. We drop our 17,000-gallon pool right in the middle of the dance floor, surrounded by 6,000 sq ft of turf, with shade structures, misters, and more to keep the afternoon epic and comfortable.

Production

High-power lasers. Serious lighting. Our signature giant tribal head stage. And the best local and regional DJs around. Music starts each evening around 7 PM and runs 'til late/early morning.

If enough people grab tickets early, we'll bring in one or two bigger artists to headline. Last year we flew Drunken Kong all the way from Tokyo. We've got our eye on a few names this year, but we need the budget to land them. Buying early genuinely helps us deliver a better experience, and it saves you money over waiting.
